Expese Rent-To-Own (Expeserto.com) is a subsidiary of the Expese.com (founded in 2016), a monthly gadget subscription service.

We started Expese Rent-To-Own service in Dec 2018 after receiving several requests from Expese.com users who like to rent brand new gadgets with an option to pay over the period. In some instances, they want to rent a gadget right now for the special occasion instead of waiting for it to become available on Expese.com.

So now with Expese Rent-To-Own, you can rent the latest and greatest gadgets with an option to own in 12 months or less.

Is this a legit company?

Oh, we get this question a lot! Please allow us to explain. Expese Rent-To-Own is a subsidiary company of Expese.com. Expese.com has been in existence since 2016. The company was incorporated with the Secretary of State in MA, and you can find us in the corporate database as a "Tabcoinclub.com, Inc" DBA. Expese.com

So in simple words YES, this is a 100% legitimate company.

Then why is Expese Rent-To-Own so cheap compared to other Rent-To-Own companies or gadget rental companies?

Expese was started with one simple mission, to make technology accessible and affordable to everyone. Expese is entirely operated online unlike other giant rent-to-own companies and therefore we can pass on those savings to our users. Also, Expese doesn't spend on advertising, and thus, those savings are passed on to our users.

Ok so, how does it work?

It’s pretty simple…

Step 1: Click on "Rent Now" and set up the subscription by paying the weekly subscription fee.

Step 2: Once your subscription is approved, we will ship out a brand new or like new gadget to you within 2-4 business days.

Step 3: Rent it as long as you want, and after renting it for 52 weeks it's automatically yours to keep for $1.00. Alternatively you can pay within 26 weeks with Early Pay-Off discount and you get to keep it for $1.00. (Yah, we know that $1.00 is bizarre but for some reason MA regulation loves it!)

No Credit Check, No Commitment. No longer need an item you are renting? Simply send it back using a prepaid return label provided in your rental box and we will cancel your subscription.

What if I accidentally break the rental product?

If the gadget is damaged during your rental, you are obligated to file a report within 14 days. Simply send us an email to hello@expese.com, or you can chat with us via text or website. Every product is insured up to 90%, meaning that we will take on 90% of the repair costs in case of damage. Signs of normal usage are entirely covered, but if the damage can not be repaired, you will pay a maximum of 10% of the total Rent-To-Own Cost. Lost or stolen products are not insured.

What if the rental product gets lost or stolen?

Expese RTO free accidental damage of all products does not apply if the product is lost or stolen. In the case of a lost or stolen product, please contact customer service at 857-574-0559 or email us at hello@expese.com.

What does ‘own it in 12 months or less’ means?

Let's not complicate Rent-To-Own. Therefore we made it easy & simple to understand.

So, under the Expese rental subscription, rent any item for 52 weeks, and it's automatically yours to keep it for $1.00.


Pay the Early Pay-Off Price listed on the product page within 26 weeks (including your weekly rental fee), and you get to keep it for $1.00.

How old do I need to be to Rent with Expese RTO (Rent-To-Own)?

You must be 18 years or older to rent with Expese.com.

Does the rental product come with the warranty?

Yes, all the rental products come with one year of manufacture warranty.

How can I get a return label?

We automatically send a prepaid return label in each rental box. However, if you need a duplicate return label, please contact customer service via text, chat or email.

How do I return the rental product?

Simply use the prepaid return label provided in your rental box and drop it off at the carrier facility. That's all from your end!

Are all Products New?

All Products are either Brand New or Like New condition with all the original accessory and packaging. However, if you are not satisfied with the product you received, you can always request a replacement within 14 days from the day you received the item.

How long does it take to ship my approved rental product?

Is there a credit check?

Nope, Expese rental doesn't require credit check whatsoever. Unlike other Rent-To-Own places, we don't even ask for your social security number.

What if I am not able to pay the weekly rental fee after renting it for a few weeks?

We understand circumstance could change, and therefore there is no commitment. If you are unable to make weekly payments, simply return your rental within 7-days from the day your subscription is canceled. That's all!

How can I cancel my subscription?

To cancel your subscription, please return your rental using the prepaid return label. Once we receive your rental, we will cancel your subscription right away.

Should I keep the original delivery box?

Yes, we highly recommend keeping the delivery box & it's original packaging. If you decide to return your rental, it will come in handy.

Will I get exactly what I ordered?

Yes, we try our best you get the product that you ordered. In case if you are not satisfied with the product you received simply request a free exchange.

What If I am not able to pay off in 26 weeks?

You don't have to pay off in 26 weeks; it's an option if you would like to take advantage of early pay off discount. By default, your product subscription is set for 52 weeks payments. That allows you to own the product after 52nd weekly payment automatically for $1.00.

What is Expese refund policy?

Please note, Expese does not offer a refund on a weekly subscription/rental fee. Except in case where Expese does not approve your subscription, Expese will refund your order right away.
